The Power of Fiber Reinforcement: At the heart of these bearings lies a composite structure, where high-strength fibers, such as carbon or glass fibers, are embedded in a matrix of self-lubricating materials, like PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or other advanced polymers. Fiber reinforced self-lubricating composite bearings are a remarkable innovation in the world of bearings, combining the strength of advanced glass fibers with the convenience of PTFE fiber self-lubrication. Crafted with precision, these bearings excel in demanding applications where durability and low friction are paramount.

Structure

Sliding layer Contains PTFE filled liner and high-strength fibers encapsulated in as internally lubricating layer. Backing is made up of Continuous wound glass fiber encapsulated in a high temperature epoxy resin.
